February 27, 2012 - Stopped by and all the first floor living area is stick built and the garage will be done tomorrow.  Exciting to see the progress.  This was taken from the top of a hill that is across the street.

February 26, 2012 - After church Donna and I stopped in to see what was done yesterday after we left and here is the result.

February 25, 2012 - A Saturday Surprise!!  Donna and I were out looking at wood flooring and decided to drive by the home.  Were we ever surprised!  They framers were out doing what they do best and it was so exciting to see the progress.  I think because the inspections shut down the framers for a couple of days they decided to work today.

February 24, 2012 - Well this week has been very busy as work and I haven't been able to get to the house as much as I wanted.  Since the last post we had to wait on some inspections before we could proceed.  I stopped out on Friday and they guys were working hard.

February 17, 2012 - And the work continues.  I've been the supervisor at work and that is taking up a lot of my time so I haven't had a chance to post in a couple of days.  Here is what happened on Friday.

Jada our newest family member visited with me on Friday.  She is very good and waited patiently for me as I took some pics.  Afterwards we went for a walk and met Rose, the lady who lives next door to us.

February 10, 2012 - Basement Floor Poured!

February 10, 2012 - Today it was cold enough to snow and the guys poured the basement floor.  Not  much to see here because of the plastic over the top of the cement.  Our builder told me today that framing will start on Monday or Tuesday, depending on when the lumber is delivered.  He didn't want it delivered today (Friday) for fear over the weekend some unsavory folks would think our lot was a 'free' Lowe's Lumber Yard!!!

February 2, 2012 - Today the weather was so nice.  Low 60's, sunny and no rain!  Yesterday the guys poured the concrete and today took off the forms.  It's starting to look like a house.

This is the inside of the basement and is a lot bigger than we had originally decided on but will be very nice for the grand kids to ride bikes in when the weather is not the best.
